Broadside Sailing – RYA Registered Training Centre, Norfolk
Broadside Sailing was recognised as a teaching establishment in 2007 by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), We offer many tailored courses to suit small or large groups.
Some courses are bespoke, arranged to suit one or two students. Others have small numbers of participants and are arranged at times and on dates to suit those involved. These may be mid-week or at weekends. Intensive (full-week) courses are also offered.
Courses are either delivered at “Broadside”, in Thurton (6 miles SE from Norwich), or at students’ own homes or premises, often near Norwich, but also at other locations within Norfolk and Suffolk.
The principal is Andy Royall, a nationally recognised and commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Ocean. Andy is a qualified teacher, SRC examiner and member of the Royal Institute of Navigation (RIN).
